Description

The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us. We are currently seeking candidates for a 3-year apprenticeship as a Civil Engineering Specialist / Track Builder (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at our location in Donauwörth. After successfully completing your apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to continue your education as a Track Mechanic and, optionally, as a Master of Track Construction through the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

What to expect during your apprenticeship:

You will work on construction sites, railway substructures, and superstructures to ensure a safe and stable rail network
You will operate state-of-the-art machinery and work with various construction materials
You will learn how to replace damaged tracks and switches, as well as renew the track bed
You will be trained to use surveying equipment to accurately measure track curves and gauge widths
After your apprenticeship, you will be an essential part of the team, responsible for ensuring the safe and smooth transportation of passengers to their destinations every day

If you successfully complete your apprenticeship as a Track Builder, you will have the opportunity to participate in several paid further training programs.
