Your tasksStudents in the Electrical Engineering-Automation program always receive a solid engineering education: They deal with topics relevant to electrical engineering from mathematics, physics, and computer science. They learn about all areas of electrical engineering such as electronics, system theory, and microcomputer technology.
In addition to the technical background, the curriculum also includes subjects that deal with the development of a product, from project management to marketing and sales.
In the Automation specialization, students learn how to program machines and systems to function and operate without human intervention. This includes considering important aspects such as quality, work processes, and efficiency, and understanding the impact of automation on these factors. For industrial companies, automation remains a crucial aspect in terms of cost efficiency and securing the economic location of Germany. Graduates make an important contribution to the profitability and sustainability of a company.
After completing their studies, graduates can work in areas such as research and development, industrial engineering, automation and process optimization, robotics and manufacturing, or in the planning of electrical systems.
