- Experience working with procurement and buyers to streamline processes and ensure compliance to rules and regulations.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple, high-paced projects concurrently.
- Superior interpersonal and communication abilities, adept at building positive internal and external relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with contract management software such as ServiceNow, Jaggaer Total Contract Management is a plus.
- Independent and collaborative working style, with a detail-oriented approach focused on identifying potential risks and formulating effective mitigation strategies.
- Direct experience managing Software Licensing Agreements, Cloud Services Agreements, Managed IT Services contracts, and Hardware purchase and maintenance agreements, with a keen understanding of the nuances of software license management and compliance.
- Experience being in a supervisory role.
- Proactive Contract Management: Initiate the development, evaluation, and execution of contracts, working in concert with purchasing, legal, and other relevant departmental teams.
- Renewal Strategy Implementation: Take a proactive stance on contract renewals, ensuring early engagement and bringing in purchasing and finance to help with strategic negotiations to secure favorable terms and avoid lapses in service or licensing.
- Cost Management: Vigilantly monitor contract terms and work with purchasing, finance and the service owner to help manage and mitigate cost increases, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints and financial planning.
- Lifecycle Oversight: Manage the entire contract lifecycle, including the meticulous documentation, amendments, proactive renewals, and terminations, while maintaining precise and current contract records.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess and quarterly reviews of contract performance to ensure compliance with all terms and conditions, collaborating with service owner teams to swiftly address any discrepancies or issues.
- Efficiency and Process Improvements: Assist in the development and refinement of contract management tools, techniques, processes, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and minimize risk exposure.
- Stakeholder Support: Provide robust support and expert guidance on contract-related matters to business owners and team members, ensuring comprehensive understanding and adherence to contractual obligations and rights.
- Collaboration and Alignment: Work collaboratively with the Office of General Counsel (OGC), procurement teams, finance teams, security teams, and other business units to streamline the process related to compliance, risk, and regulatory needs.
- Vendor Relations: Regular engagement with key and large vendor contracts to ensure there is still value add for the Enterprise Technology Office.
- Contract Repository: Establishes and maintains the central repository for all Enterprise Technology Office's related contracts and their supporting documentation, such as security reviews, in order to facilitate an ease of access, references, and reporting as needed.

Job DescriptionThe Enterprise Technology Office is seeking a Contracts Manager that will be pivotal in overseeing the complete contract lifecycle, from initiation and execution to proactive monitoring, renewal, and closure. This role is designed for a proactive, forward-thinking individual who is committed to maintaining the highest standards of contract management, ensuring that Enterprise Technology remains at the forefront of operational efficiency and contractual compliance. This is done through the understanding of contract mechanisms, outstanding organizational capabilities, and the adeptness to collaborate effectively with purchasing, legal, finance, and service owners, ensuring a seamless contract administration process. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team-oriented environment, proactively offering guidance and support to guarantee that contractual obligations are fulfilled efficiently and effectively, with a particular focus on preemptive renewal strategies and cost management.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business, supply chain management, procurement or other related field and, six (6) years of supply chain or procurement experience with at least three (3) years of strategic sourcing, OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
