- As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist here at Client, you will play a crucial role in advancing strategic sourcing efforts and streamlining procurement processes.
- You will oversee the development and execution of sourcing strategies, manage supplier partnerships, and drive savings.
- Your expertise in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management will greatly impact our procurement function's success.
- In this position, you will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our procurement operations, ensuring cost savings and access to top-notch goods and services.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance.
- Conduct market research and assess suppliers to onboard strategic partners.
- Lead negotiations and manage contracts to secure favorable terms.
- Initiate continuous improvement efforts to boost supplier performance and streamline the supply chain.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to align sourcing strategies with business goals.
- Monitor supplier performance, handle relationships, and mitigate risks to ensure compliance.
- 8+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, business, or finance.
- Bachelor's Degree in business, procurement, supply chain, finance, or a technical field.
- Proficient in data analytics tools (MS Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) and adept at problem-solving.
- Skilled in supplier management, contract negotiations, and knowledgeable about procurement best practices.
- Experience in manufacturing, particularly in the Aerospace sector.
- Certified in procurement or supply chain management with the ability to lead multiple projects independently.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar procurement systems, federal acquisitions regulations, and commercial practices.
- Extensive experience handling long-term supply agreements and subcontracts with strong negotiation capabilities.
