Description

At UKE Verdon, we firmly believe that successful and fulfilling work should be in harmony with the personal needs and individual life plans of all employees.

Together, we can make this possible.

A little more every day. A little better every day.

This is what the position entails:

The clinical section of the Institute for Neuroimmunology and Multiple Sclerosis (INIMS) focuses on the development and evaluation of evidence-based (digital) lifestyle interventions, as well as the development and validation of MS-specific questionnaires/screening instruments.

The fatigue management intervention ELEVIDA, based on a cognitive-behavioral therapy approach, has already been approved as a DIGA. In the meantime, this intervention has been expanded with a module to increase physical activity (ELEVIDA-GO). As part of a third-party funded project, ELEVIDA-GO will be evaluated in a pilot study. In addition, two screening instruments for nutrition in MS will be validated.

Your responsibilities:

  • Conducting and evaluating a pilot study (online intervention) on fatigue management in MS (Elevida-Go)
  • Validation of screening instruments for nutrition in MS
  • Conducting neuropsychological diagnostics in the MS day clinic
  • Collaboration with external project participants
  • Exchange with health services researchers from the Heesen working group and within the UKEwide research network
  • Participation in weekly internal seminars and meetings
  • Regular presentation of own work progress
  • Careful documentation of research results
