in Business Continuity Management

Location: Stuttgart, Rotebühlplatz 10

The Evangelical Church Council is responsible for the administration of the regional church. It advises church communities, districts, and church institutions on theological and legal matters. The Council also oversees the administration of districts and church communities, as well as regional church works and institutions, and their employees.

We are currently seeking an IT Specialist (m/f/d) in Business Continuity Management for our Department 7.4 "Information Technology for the Regional Church and Church Council" to start as soon as possible, with a full-time employment of 100%.

Your responsibilities:

Ensuring business operations continue even in the event of significant disruptions in information processing
Developing and updating the Business Continuity Management for the Church Council and supporting departments in implementing new procedures
Identifying and evaluating potential consequences of IT system disruptions on business operations
Creating business continuity and recovery plans and regularly testing them through emergency drills
Advising departments on establishing and maintaining organization-wide emergency management
Collaborating with the Information Security Management team, Information Security Officer, and IT department administrators
