We are looking for the next great team member to guide our AM Operations.

Today, from its Southern & Central California operational hubs, the family-owned company provides same-day and next-day delivery of essential customer products ranging from relationships with the USPS, pharmaceutical, healthcare, biotech, legal, manufacturing, and retail industries throughout the state of California.

We have an opening for an AM Route Manager and looking for the next great leader.

The Route Manager position is responsible for directing a pick-up and delivery route operation consisting of drivers and warehouse personnel servicing San Diego County.

The position will provide leadership and administrative support to all aspects of delivery operations including, but not limited to the following:

safety and security, timeliness of deliveries; delivery related projects, mentoring, training and education, policy and procedural enforcement, and meeting productivity and expense goals.


Accountabilities

  • Support and direct employee drivers, warehouse personnel, and support staff for a robust 350+ hour operational unit per day
  • Recruit, hire, train, and oversee HR functions
  • Provide leadership and direction to subordinates and other team members
  • Direct and drive optimization projects and initiatives to include roll out and implementation.
  • Accountable for meeting customer service metrics.
  • Anticipate challenges and implement/drive solutions.
  • Monitor compliance of safety, security, and regulatory processes and procedures and mitigate risks.
  • Conduct hub audits and reinforce policy and procedures as they relate to safety and security.
  • Resolve escalated delivery issues and follow up with ongoing communication.

Qualifications_

  • 3+ years of supervisory/management leadership or dispatch experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or comparable servicerelated experience in the field of logistics/transportation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask with strong organizational skills
  • Willingness and desire to be promotable

Pay:
$70, $80,000.00 per year

Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:
