The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany.

Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to become even better with us.

We are currently seeking candidates for a 3-year apprenticeship as a professional driver (m/f/d) for Omnibusverkehr Franken GmbH at our location in Coburg.

The vocational school is located in Nuremberg.

What to expect in your apprenticeship:

  • You will learn how to drive buses and obtain a Class D driver's license
  • Familiarization with the vehicle technology of different bus models
  • You will learn how to maintain and troubleshoot buses
  • Customer consultation on transportation connections and fares

Your profile:

  • You have successfully completed (or will soon complete) school and are at least 17 years old
  • You are passionate about technology
  • You can remain calm and keep an overview even in challenging situations
  • You value service and safety orientation
  • You are flexible and reliable
  • It is advantageous if you have a Class B driver's license
As part of the selection process, an aptitude test will be conducted for this apprenticeship. During the application process, you will learn all about the background and procedure.
