The Chair of Thermodynamics of Mobile Energy Conversion Systems (TME) and the Center for Mobile Propulsion (CMP), led by Prof.

Dr.
Ing. (USA) Stefan Pischinger, conducts research on all topics related to vehicle powertrains.

Our main focus is on conventional combustion engine development, including innovative engine designs, more efficient combustion processes with alternative fuels, and improvements in engine mechanics and aftertreatment systems.

We also research virtual engine development, hybrid powertrains, electromobility, fuel cells, and mechatronics for combustion engines. Our research is closely linked to the development of intelligent methods for test procedures and engine calibration.

The Chair of Thermodynamics of Mobile Energy Conversion Systems employs over 260 scientific, technical, and administrative staff, as well as student assistants.

Your Profile:

Knowledge of modeling and simulation of fuel cells and systems, preferably in Matlab/Simulink or Modelica
Experience in measurement data evaluation and test bench operation
University degree (master's or equivalent)
Basic knowledge of electrolys
