- Leading signal design projects, managing budgets, schedules, and quality
- Overseeing circuit design by in-house and contractor teams
- Developing design concepts and monitoring contractor progress
- Coordinating with wiring vendors for Signals and Communication (S&C) projects
- Working with material coordinators to process work orders and orders for crossing materials
- Providing technical support for the installation and maintenance of crossing warning systems
- Serving as a technical resource for signal design within the railway
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering fields
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Proficiency in CAD, Bentley MicroStation CONNECT Edition, and Microsoft Project

The Engineer or Senior Officer, Signals and Communication Design is responsible for signal design, focusing on modifying existing or creating new signal circuits for railway Centralized Traffic Control (CTC).
This role oversees the safe and effective design of circuits, hardware, and software for highway crossing and wayside signaling projects, with specific attention to crossing infrastructure design, estimating, and material logistics, complying with government standards and regulations.
Responsibilities Include:
Field and Technical Support:
This role involves standard office hours from Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime. It also requires outdoor work in various weather conditions and being on-call 24/7 for critical incidents, with minimal travel within the assigned territory.
