Job Description

We develop, operate, and maintain a manufacturing control system that has grown to meet the demands of the industry. This system is currently used efficiently at the Blaichach plant and 20 other Bosch locations, with 8000 interconnected machines. The majority of these machines are developed and built in-house for use in the international manufacturing network. As part of our connection projects, we link these machines, as well as external equipment, to local databases and the cloud through message brokers using market standards such as RabbitMQ, Oracle, Splunk, and Bosch MES Standards Nexeed modules.

As a member of our team, you will advise our internal customers on the connection of production lines and coordinate requirements and concepts with internal and external suppliers.
You will connect machines and equipment as part of connection projects and provide necessary software configurations as automated as possible.
You will also support users in the global manufacturing network throughout the entire life cycle of machines and equipment.
Lastly, you will provide helpful advice and support for IT solutions to digitize production, laying the foundation for Industry 4.0 projects at the site and in the international production network.

Qualifications

Education: Successfully completed technical studies in production and automation technology or equivalent.
Experience and expertise:
- Practical experience in production
