The well-staffed medical clinic in the district of Kassel has an outstanding professional reputation and is known regionally for its excellent therapy offerings.

The clinic is an academic teaching hospital of the Faculty of Medicine at Justus Liebig University Giessen. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Lead Psychological Psychotherapist for our newly established station for Affektive Störungen.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting individual and group therapies and actively contribute to the development of treatment concepts.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group therapies for patients with affektive Störungen
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings for case discussions and treatment planning
  • Contribute to the development of innovative treatment concepts and methods
  • Document and evaluate therapeutic work
  • Collaborate closely with other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

  • License as a Psychological Psychotherapist
  • Experience in treating patients with affektive Störungen is desirable
  • Independent, structured, and responsible work style
  • Teamwork and strong communication skills
  • Willingness to participate in further education and training
  • Leadership experience is desirable
