If you are as passionate as we are about assisting our patients start, or enlarge, their families then join our remarkable team at Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York We are currently recruiting for a coordinator to join our 3rd Party/Donor Reproductive Services team.


This position hours are Mondays to Fridays, 9 am to 5 pm and will be based at our Madison Avenue office.

This position will coordinate and schedule all Third Party/Gestational Carrier IVF cycles.

Some of the major responsibilities include:

  • Schedule patients for all appointments necessary for the completion of the IVF checklist (labs, saline sonogram, cultures, uterine sounding, SA, etc.).
  • Responsible for who is starting and when, and if not starting, documenting why. When applicable, provide written protocol specific schedule for patient up to time of gonadotropin start.
  • Coordinate and schedule patients for IVF Orientation Class.
  • Provide patients with IVF Packet, including Patient Handbook, IVF checklist, basic financial information relevant to IVF/FET cycle and associated procedures.
  • Ensure patient cycle medication precertification is initiated with patient services coordinator by making sure patient completes the demographic update form. Confirm precertification completed prior to calling in medications.
  • Maintain channel of communication with finance department regarding patient's financial clearance for IVF cycle prior to GND start. Alert finance department of any changes in protocol or cycle status.
  • Schedule and review IVF checklist with patient to determine if completed
  • Distribute all necessary consents and adhere to all policies for proper consent witnessing and processing.
  • Provide emotional support to patients when speaking with them.
  • Schedule in person interview with the Coordinator and MMPI for donor.
  • Schedule physical exam appointments for donors who have been approved.
  • Ensure all relevant FDA forms are filed into designated FDA area of chart.
  • Schedule appointments for carrier's appointment with psychologist.
  • Check FDA forms are completed and signed
To qualify, you must have a Bachelor's degree, and preferbly1-3 years medical office experience assisting patients. Experience using an electronic patient medical record system is a plus; experience with MS Word and Excel is required. You must be able to work individually and as part of a team. Excellent verbal and written communications, organizational, interpersonal and multi-tasking skills are required.


Pay:
From $40,000.00 per year
