At the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering, the following professorship (W2) is to be filled as a part-time position (50%) from the winter semester 2024/25 or later:

Professorship for Planning in Civil Engineering
We are looking for an engineer (m/f/d) or architect (m/f/d) to fill the professorship for Planning in Civil Engineering. Due to the half-time position, we expect a positive interaction between theory and practice.

Your tasks:
Teaching in German and English in the field of Civil Engineering and related disciplines, as well as in the basic courses of the Bachelor's and Master's programs of the Faculty
Activities in academic self-administration
Collaboration in the continuous development of the Faculty

Your profile:
A successfully completed university degree, preferably in the relevant field
Many years of experience in the field of independent planning, construction and implementation of complex buildings or engineering structures
Experience in the application of the latest digital tools and methods, acquired for example in a technical office of a construction company, with a general planner or in planning offices
In-depth knowledge of interdisciplinary work is an advantage

Pedagogical aptitude:
ability to convey knowledge and to work scientifically
The special qualification for scientific work, which must be demonstrated by the quality of a doctorate or by another proof (expert opinion on doctoral-level achievements)
Special achievements in the application or development
