- Protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and mitigate operational risks.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to establish and maintain quality assurance processes, including regular audits, inspections, and assessments to identify potential safety hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Serve as a safety advocate within the organization, fostering a culture of safety awareness and accountability among employees and stakeholders through training, communication, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct analysis of safety data and performance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance safety outcomes and reduce incidents.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the Operations safety landscape, and provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior management to ensure compliance and maintain a competitive edge.
- Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and other in internal & external stakeholders to represent the company's interests and influence policy development and industry standards related to transportation safety.
- Develop and oversee a comprehensive safety governance framework for operations, encompassing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance.
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in transportation safety management or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices applicable to transportation operations, including but not limited to DOT, NHTSA, and OSHA requirements.
- You will interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights to drive safety improvements.
- You will engage and partner at all levels of the organization.
- You will lead multi-functional teams and promote change
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent safety certification.

The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
