Your training as a tool mechanic (m/f/d)

In order to shape our plastic parts, we need professionals who can manufacture, maintain and repair our complex metal tools. This is where you come in: Become a tool mechanic (m/f/d) and demonstrate your manual skills.

This is what your training at Aptar looks like
  • During your 3.5 years of training, you will rotate through various departments in addition to working in our in-house training workshop, where you will not only learn about our toolmaking, but also many other areas such as our injection molding department.
  • You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute your own ideas in addition to your daily tasks.
  • You will build a network within the company as you get to know many colleagues from different departments during your training.
  • Your trainer will be your contact person for all questions regarding your professional training and will support you in preparing for your exams.
What you will learn during your training
  • In our in-house training workshop, you will acquire basic knowledge in metal processing.
  • You will learn all production steps for the manufacture of tools for the production of high-quality plastic products.
  • We will teach you all the knowledge and skills necessary for assembling, disassembling, maintaining and repairing injection molds.
