As a Berlin-based boutique personnel consultancy, we are exclusively searching for our client, a company in the digital/medi-tech industry in the heart of Berlin, for the right candidate for the position of Tax Specialist (m/f/d).

Responsibilities

  • Providing expert support to national and international subsidiaries in the areas of national and international tax law, with a focus on valueadded tax
  • Developing tax processes for individual group companies
  • Assisting with projects such as restructuring, tax compliance management systems, and business model development
  • Handling ongoing inquiries from all areas of tax law
  • Assisting with the preparation of tax returns
Qualifications

  • Degree in economics or business administration with a focus on taxes, a commercial apprenticeship with additional qualification as a tax specialist (m/f/d), or training as a tax clerk (m/f/d)
  • Several years of professional experience in a private company or in tax consulting/auditing
  • Ability to quickly process complex tax matters, excellent analytical and conceptual skills, and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools (MS Office) and common ERP systems
  • Confident demeanor, assertiveness, and strong team skills
  • Excellent written and spoken German, good English skills are desirable
