The Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMDV) has commissioned the Federal Office for Goods Transport (BAV) as the authorizing authority for the administrative implementation and support of various funding programs, including the government program "Electromobility", the Mobility and Fuel Strategy of the Federal Government, the Immediate Clean Air Program (e.g. charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, conversion of ships to use LNG as a ship fuel) as well as funding measures in the field of digitization (in particular drones, 5G mobile communications standard and artificial intelligence). The BAV ensures the lawful and efficient use of funding through careful administrative planning, implementation and control.
The BAV supports the BMDV in administrative tasks related to the processing of funding. They advise applicants on relevant aspects of funding and conduct the substantive and formal review of funding applications. They issue funding decisions, if necessary for handover to the BMDV, handle the financial aspects of the funding projects and review the use of funds for the supported projects. As an auditor, you will process applications, issue decisions, make payments, review use of funds, handle appeals and participate in legal proceedings.
