RESPONSIBILITIES
BASF Schwarzheide GmbH continuously strives to increase the efficiency of its production plants. This can be achieved through improving product quality or plant throughput, as well as reducing energy costs and downtime.
- To drive this process, you will support the department in equipping the plants with solutions in the areas of automation and control technology, manufacturing execution systems (MES), and connectivity and cloud.
- Currently, we are working on optimizing split-range controls and further developing a controller performance dashboard.
- In addition, we use industrial 5G campus networks in the process industry and operational technology (OT) cloud applications.
- You will also be responsible for examining the cybersecurity of automation systems.
