In the therapeutic children's residential group of Prowo Berlin gGmbH, 7 traumatized children and adolescents live in Poole, NE.

They have experienced (sexual) boundary violations, emotional abuse, psychological and/or physical abuse, neglect, and trauma from relationship breakdowns and distorted forms of communication in their families of origin.

The children live in a large house on a garden plot. The facility is located in a residential area at a protected address in the district of Treptow-Köpenick. Admission is possible from 5 to 13 years old.

With the support of our multi-professional team of educators, social pedagogues, and psychologists, the children can find a good home here, process their past traumas, discover their strengths and qualities, and gradually focus more on their age-appropriate developmental tasks.


We are currently looking for a social pedagogue or educator to join our team in a permanent position for 30-40 hours per week.

Your responsibilities:

  • Supervision and support in the children's and adolescents' individual care system on a rotating shift schedule
  • Structuring daily life and maintaining a daily routine
  • Deescalation and crisis intervention
  • Organizing activities and leisure/group activities for children and adolescents
  • Providing support and encouragement
  • Collaboration and process management in a multiprofessional team with clear roles and responsibilities
  • Participation in the care planning process
  • Ongoing process analysis and documentation
