Montreat is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 4,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us. We are currently seeking candidates for a 3-year apprenticeship as a Track Builder / Civil Engineering Specialist (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at our location in Freilassing. The vocational school is located in Augsburg. After successfully completing your apprenticeship, you will undergo a 3.5-year paid further qualification as a Track Mechanic, Construction Supervisor, and IHK Master of Track Construction.

What to expect during your apprenticeship:
  • You will work with your team on construction sites, maintaining our tracks and switches
  • Together, you will inspect our tracks for any faults and replace damaged parts
  • You will also renew the stones and gravel layers under the tracks, using modern machinery to make the job easier
  • Ensuring precise measurements to prevent any shaking during train rides will be a key part of your work
  • After your apprenticeship, you will be an essential part of the team, responsible for ensuring the safe and smooth journey of all passengers
Your profile:
  • You have (or will soon have) successfully completed your education
  • You prefer working outdoors rather than in an office
