This is the task:


  • Conceptualizing a novel batterypowered device for use in gardening
  • Researching the state of the art and analyzing competitor products
  • Identifying product requirements through the application of customeroriented product development methods (e.g. use case scenarios, design thinking)
  • Developing solutions and designing mechanical and electronic components
  • Constructively designing components in CAD and building a functional prototype using rapid prototyping

What we are looking for:


  • Ongoing studies in mechanical engineering, product development, vehicle engineering, aerospace engineering, mechatronics or similar fields
  • Previous experience in conceptualizing or designing assemblies is advantageous
  • Technical knowledge in the area of methodical product development is beneficial
  • Proficiency in a 3D CAD program, preferably PTC Creo
  • Selfmotivation, creativity, and a structured work approach
