a new team member starting on August 21, 2023 in Cable, IL:


  • School Support (m/f/d) for Carolinenschule on a parttime basis with an average of 33 hours per week

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • With enthusiasm and optimism, you will provide
    individual assistance in the daily school routine for a child with special needs
  • You will
    support the child in their daily school attendance with the goal of integrating them into the class and school community as best as possible
  • With
    empathy, you will accompany the child in activities such as lessons, breaks, on the way to and from school, and within the school building
  • You will work
    collaboratively with teachers, and organize and structure tasks

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience working with children
  • Has empathy and patience
  • Is motivated and able to handle stress
  • Is careful and reliable
  • Has a positive attitude towards the Christian view of humanity and the diakonic mission
  • Has a valid driver's license (Class B)
