Your Responsibilities:

  • Taking responsibility for the development of seat covers and production-level cover samples to support styling reviews
  • Managing the project for trim covers from concept to approval
  • Creating and maintaining component specifications and functional specifications
  • Independently completing design tasks
  • Developing schedules for cover development
  • Coordinating with engineering teams at JIT manufacturing plants, sewing shops (both internal and external), and suppliers
  • Independently planning and coordinating tasks
  • Tracking processes to meet schedule and quality goals

Your Qualifications:

  • Completed degree in manufacturing engineering, textile engineering, materials, product development, fashion design, or a related field
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of textile technology is a plus
  • Experience in project management or a related field is a plus
  • Solution-oriented and motivated
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
