Description
Your Responsibilities:
- Taking responsibility for the development of seat covers and production-level cover samples to support styling reviews
- Managing the project for trim covers from concept to approval
- Creating and maintaining component specifications and functional specifications
- Independently completing design tasks
- Developing schedules for cover development
- Coordinating with engineering teams at JIT manufacturing plants, sewing shops (both internal and external), and suppliers
- Independently planning and coordinating tasks
- Tracking processes to meet schedule and quality goals
Your Qualifications:
- Completed degree in manufacturing engineering, textile engineering, materials, product development, fashion design, or a related field
- Previous experience in the automotive industry is preferred
- Knowledge of textile technology is a plus
- Experience in project management or a related field is a plus
- Solution-oriented and motivated
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
