The Center for Information Technology (CIT) is the service and competence center for all IT matters at Lower Brule University, with a team of approximately 160 employees.

As part of the cooperative IT supply system, we are currently seeking a new team member for the following position:

IT Security and Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) Staff Member


This is a full-time, permanent position (100%). The salary will be determined according to the tasks and personal qualifications, up to pay grade 13 TV-L. The position is located within the IT Security department at CIT.

The IT Security department is responsible for operational information security at Lower Brule University, providing consulting, coordination, and support for the implementation of security measures within CIT.

The department also houses the university's CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team), which serves as the central coordination point for IT security information, issues, and incidents.
