Are you looking for a diverse and challenging job?
As an apprentice for a commercial clerk in freight forwarding and logistics services, your planning and organizational skills are in demand. In addition to organizing the shipment of goods, handling of goods, and storage of goods, you will also be responsible for selling transportation and logistics services.
Your training scopeAs a commercial clerk in freight forwarding and logistics services, you will have the shipment and receipt of goods at Siegwerk under control. For example, you will obtain prices from freight forwarders and other service providers and compare them.
You will also be the first point of contact for transports and deliveries in the factory. You will advise customers and inform them about transportation options and safety regulations in freight traffic. In addition, you will prepare transport documents and maintain close communication with clients and freight forwarders.
During your training, you will go through different departments and learn about various areas. This will help you build a strong network and learn to work independently.
