Chesapeake Sprinkler Company, a leading and full-service fire protection company, opened its doors in 1978. Headquartered in Odenton, MD (Near Ft. Meade) with an additional established branch office in Ashburn, VA, is a fire protection systems contractor capable of performing any type of systems from commercial, industrial, residential, service and special hazards.


Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist in the installation and repair of fire sprinkler systems per specifications
  • Lays out strings (pipe) along designated pipeline settings in field.
  • Connects pipe, using snap lock or wrench to tighten collar clamp.
  • Attaches revolving sprinkler heads to vertical pipes at designated points along pipeline.
  • Communicate with foreman and/or superintendent any safety hazards and discrepancies found on job site.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Adhere to company safe working policies and procedures at all times.


This position does travel to different job sites which means you
Must have a valid driver's license. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORTATION as well.

We do provide a milage stipend. Our jobs take us throughout the Baltimore, Maryland and DC area.

You will be provided a list of tools to be purchased prior to start (Should you not already have them) in order to perform this job.

Physical and Pre-employment drug screen are required. Overtime may be required.


Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED; or 0-6 months related experience or training.
