The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

Starting on September 1st, 2024, we are looking for you to join our 3.5-year apprenticeship program as a Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) for DB Regio AG at our location in Haltingen. The vocational school is located in Emmendingen.
What to expect in your apprenticeship:
  • Maintenance and repair of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic controls in our vehicles, such as information displays, doors, or monitoring systems
  • Mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Programming, installation, and testing of modern hardware and software components
  • Identification and troubleshooting of errors and malfunctions
  • Learning how to expertly fix defects
  • Ensuring that our trains are always ready for operation
Your profile:
  • You have successfully completed (or will soon complete) your education
  • You have a strong understanding of math and physics
