YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Close collaboration with various departments to implement functional safety requirements in automotive and industrial projects
Coordination, development, and analysis of functional and technical safety concepts, as well as corresponding system architectures for safety-critical components and systems (hardware and software)
Implementation and verification of safety concepts, taking into account relevant standards, and accompanying HW/SW development
Active participation in conducting and moderating hazard analyses, risk assessments, and safety analyses (e.g. FMEA, FTA, or HARA)
Execution of safety-related management activities, as well as review and verification of work results
Coordination and planning of necessary functional safety activities, potentially including supervision, support, and technical management of suppliers

Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, physics, or a comparable qualification
Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and challenging technical issues in innovative projects
Basic knowledge in software or hardware development
Existing experience in the field of functional safety or willingness to familiarize oneself with relevant standards (e.g. ISO26262, IEC 61508, ISO)
Independent and structured working style, as well as strong problem-solving skills and
