Your responsibilities

Professional and disciplinary leadership of a team of seven employees
Development of general concepts for continuous improvement of work results
Ensuring connections to adjacent departments/areas relevant for the assigned responsibility
Building and conducting trainings and workshops for the professional and personal development of assigned employees
Development and regular monitoring of key performance indicators for operational responsibility
Escalation and resolution of significant quality and delivery issues with suppliers in collaboration with Quality Management
Search and qualification of new procurement sources for own production and potentially for group companies
Contact person for other branches regarding global sourcing
Obtaining and comparing offers and making procurement recommendations
Negotiating conditions and concluding contracts with suppliers
Optimizing procurement processes and costs
Ensuring supply of materials and services from external suppliers
Supplier management including evaluation and development with regular reporting to the Head of Supply Chain Management

Your background

Successfully completed studies in Business Administration / Industrial Engineering or comparable qualification with relevant work experience
Strong analytical skills and persuasiveness
Leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing company
Excellent knowledge in the field
