About Us

The MEDICLIN Clinic am Rennsteig in Bad Tabarz combines a specialist clinic for orthopedics and a specialist clinic for neurology under one roof.

The clinic, founded in [year], has 214 beds and employs around 140 staff members.

In the orthopedic department, we currently treat 100 patients with joint and spinal surgeries, fractures, and chronic orthopedic conditions (with approximately 70% being post-acute care).

To expand our range of services, we are currently seeking a full-time/part-time Senior Physician (m/f/d) for Orthopedics.

Responsibilities:

Conducting senior physician rounds
Patient care
Reviewing/correcting discharge reports according to current guidelines of the German Pension Insurance (DRV)
Revision of group concepts
Organizing and conducting inhouse training sessions
Participation in further training courses
Participation in the duty system
Representing the chief physician in their absence

Requirements:

Successfully completed medical studies and license to practice as a physician (m/f/d)
Specialist in orthopedics or orthopedics and trauma surgery
Personal commitment, empathy, flexibility, and teamwork skills
Willingness to pursue further professional qualifications
Experience in the rehabilitation field is desirable but not required
Suitable for physicians seeking to reenter the workforce or transition from acute care
