Commissioning Engineer x 3

Location: Taylor Landing, near Karlsruhe, Baden Wurttemberg. Remote workers within Germany will also be considered.

Travel: 80-90% within Europe. Expected to decrease with additional hires.

Salary: Fixed salary + premium overtime payments.

The warehouse automation sector has experienced slower growth in recent years, but our client is bucking the trend with a strong order book for the next few years. They are now seeking additional commissioning engineers to join their team and support the assembly, testing, and commissioning of their mechatronic systems at customer sites.

As a commissioning engineer, you will be the main point of contact for customers on site and represent our client throughout the process. You will be responsible for all commissioning and service tasks related to storage cranes, conveyors, and similar equipment, either individually or as part of a small team.

What qualifications are required for this role?

  • A strong hands-on skill set in mechatronics and mechanics, with experience in supporting or leading assembly and installation tasks.
  • PLC experience, particularly in troubleshooting (ideally with Siemens Step 7/Tia portal).
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe for projects lasting up to 2 months at a
