    Description

    Position Summary:

    Join our team at Urban Health Plan as a Dental Assistant where you'll have a crucial role in supporting the Dental Department. Your main task will be to provide chairside assistance to Pediatric and General Dentistry, enabling our Dentists to deliver top-notch care to patients effectively and efficiently.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED Required.
    • Dental Assistant Certificate required.
    • 0-1 years of related experience in a dental setting with four-handed dentistry preferred.
    • Bilingual Spanish/English highly preferred.
    • Knowledge of Dental Software and EHR (e.g. Dentrix), highly desired.
    • Ability to adhere to National Patient Safety Goals.

    Key Duties:

    • Assist the Dentist with routine procedures.
    • Prepare treatment room and tray setups for dental provider.
    • Take digital X-rays and impressions.
    • Manage dental supplies and inventory.
    • Ensure infection control sterilization of equipment and instruments.
    • Schedule appointments and maintain reception area.
    • Provide patient educational materials as required.

    Starting Compensation: Minimum $43,680 ($21.00) per year; Maximum $43,680 ($21.00) per year
