Your Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with public health standards on board our ships in the areas of Disease Surveillance, Prevention and Control of Infectious illnesses, Food Safety, Potable & Recreational Water Safety, and Integrated Pest Management. This includes providing support, guidance, conducting audits, trainings, briefings, and maintaining effective communication.
Work closely with the Company's public health representative on board to oversee compliance with the ship's COVID19 response plan. Report any findings to the Hotel Director on board and the Head of the Public Health Department on shore.
May be assigned additional projects by the shoreside Public Health Department.

Your Profile:

Bachelor's degree in public health, environmental health, biological sciences, or a closely related field preferred.
Two years of experience working on board a ship or three years of fulltime experience on shore in implementing, overseeing, or auditing public health programs.
Familiarity with the VSP Manual and SHIPSAN Manual.
Ability to deliver effective training.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with culturally diverse teams.
Proficiency in computer software
