Overall responsibility :
Entry level position to get a basic understanding of transportation. Working with the truckload and expedite division to create an educational experience to working with carriers and customers. This position is prefect for someone to gain knowledge in and grow their career in logistics
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process customer orders and coordinate pickup and delivery schedules
- Work with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers to manage the schedules
- Track and report shipment status
- Report freight discrepancies in a timely manner
- Identify and contact qualified carriers for freight services
- Ensure that freight paperwork is completed and approved
- Other duties & responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of Word and Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Pay:
From $40,000.00 per year
