The Kolping Group Bamberg is a renowned education service provider with around 350 employees, active in vocational education and related fields in Central and Upper Franconia. To complement our team, we are looking for a full-time (39 hours) Social Pedagogue (m/f/d) for the Activation and Placement Coaching department in the adult education sector, starting as soon as possible or later, at our Forchheim location.

This position is initially limited with the option of extension.

Responsibilities in Activation and Placement Coaching:

  • Promotion of key competencies (personal, social, methodical and intercultural skills)
  • Gradual introduction to the application process and qualification opportunities
  • Coaching in the areas of job application training, motivation, basic computer skills, and job search options
  • Active support of participants in job placement
  • Counseling on health or personal limitations
  • Conducting and designing group activities
  • Participation in team meetings and case discussions
  • Outreach coaching/social work

Your profile:

  • Completed degree in Social Pedagogy (diploma, bachelor's or master's)
  • Alternatively, a degree in education with a focus on social pedagogy
  • Excellent computer skills
