About Us


We are currently seeking a Controller with expertise in Operations to join our Controlling team for our Advanced Optics division at our headquarters in Mainz.

Your Responsibilities

  • Serve as a business partner for management and departments within the Advanced Optics division for all businessrelated inquiries
  • Work closely with local Controlling teams (both nationally and internationally) and operational business units
  • Report monthly key figures for group reporting and specific divisional control
  • Assist with quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Analyze business development, explain monthly results, and develop and implement improvement proposals
  • Contribute to forecasting and planning, ensuring data consistency and plausibility
  • Continuously improve and optimize Controlling systems and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of business control
  • Evaluate investment and acquisition projects and provide consultation for decisionmaking
  • Participate in divisional and group projects and independently implement corresponding milestones within these projects
Your Profile

  • Successfully completed degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering with a focus on Controlling
  • Approximately 5 years of professional experience in operational Controlling within an industrial setting (experience in production Controlling preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a resultsoriented approach
  • Good knowledge of SAP FI/CO and enthusiasm for digital tools and their application and development
  • Excellent German and English skills (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel (inter)nationally for projectrelated purposes
