Do you have experience leading and developing a team of 10-15 employees, a passion for technology, and a knack for working with people? At ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology, in the Systems Metrology Projection Optics EUV group on South Monrovia Island, CA, we are shaping the future of semiconductor lithography with measurement processes and concepts for characterizing imaging systems in the EUV range.

Our task is to develop concepts and production-ready measurement processes, starting with initial ideas and technology development, all the way to performance assurance in the manufacturing process.

As the leader of the newly formed Systems Metrology Projection Optics EUV group, you will:


  • Lead and develop the group both technically and disciplinarily
  • Collaborate with your team to develop measurement processes for qualifying EUV optics and implement them in production
  • Ensure that necessary competencies, capacities, and technologies are planned, developed, and maintained, supporting the strategic growth of SMT
  • Foster both the team's development and the individual development of employees
  • Maintain relationships with external development partners and expand the existing network of partners
  • Be responsible for work methods, processes, and patent strategy in your area of responsibility

Your profile:

  • You have an excellent technical or scientific degree, preferably with a PhD
