Your Responsibilities
We are localizing our digital learning units (originally in German) using machine translation and human post-editing. As part of our quality assurance efforts, we are looking to add an additional editing step. We are seeking a native-level English speaker/writer with expertise in mechatronics to assist with our mechatronic engineering content.

Proofreading: You will review translated learning units (vocational training for mechatronic engineers) to ensure technical accuracy and proper use of technical terms commonly used in English-speaking countries.

Optimization: You will work with translators and project leads to ensure consistency and accuracy in technical language and localization for different English-speaking regions.

Quality Assurance: You will participate in team reviews of translated content.

Essential Requirements

You are a nativelevel English speaker/writer and have a strong understanding of international English.
You have extensive knowledge of mechatronic engineering and relevant technical terminology.
You are passionate about elearning and digital education.
You are able to work independently and in a structured manner, and are familiar with agile working methods.
You enjoy working in a team and are available to work at least 10 hours per week on average.
