- Operates, maintains and troubleshoots braiding machines.
- Process various documentation, such as work orders.
- Assists in the implementation of new products and equipment.
- Assist extrusion supervisor in training of other braiding operators.
- Assist in the operation of extruder and inspection equipment.
- Follow work order schedule.
- Maintain inventory control for braiding components. Includes identifying spools of wire that need to be returned to vendor.
- Contributes to meeting department goals and operational metrics.
- Contributes to a positive and safe working environment and the overall team efforts of the department.
- Performs other related duties, as required.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and one year of related experience.
- Knowledge of the operation of braiders or other high speed equipment.
- Individual must be selfmotivated and possess good judgment in order to maintain a high degree of quantity with quality.
- Ability to recognize problems and make adjustments to the equipment.
- Ability to visually check work performed and identify whether a product has met standards.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks well.
- Ability to follow instructions in performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations and follow procedures.
