At the Faculty of Natural Sciences, the Institute of Psychology, Chair of Social and Personality Psychology is seeking to fill a position for a

Research Associate (m/f/d)
in the field of Social and Personality Psychology
at the earliest possible date.

Salary: 13 TV-L

Starting date:
June 1, 2023

Duration:
September 30, 2025

Working hours: 50%

Your responsibilities:

Conducting courses (2 SWS)
Supervising student research projects
Implementing your own scientific research project
Participation in academic selfadministration
Active international publication activity

The opportunity for scientific qualification through a doctorate is given and will be supported accordingly.

Your profile:

Completed university degree (Diploma/Master) in Psychology, preferably in Social, Environmental, or Personality Psychology
Good knowledge of statistics, methods, and English
Interest in applied social psychological research on behavior or attitudes
Interest in an academic career (doctorate), demonstrated by active participation in scientific discourse (conferences, publications)
Good knowledge of measurement theory, including the manyfacets Rasch model (desired)
