Apprenticeship as an Interior Decorator (m/f/d) at Gambier

Our apprenticeship program covers all areas of interior decoration.

You will learn how to upholster old furniture, sew cushions and curtains, install rods, rails, curtains, pleated blinds, and everything else that goes along with it, as well as how to lay carpeting.

We will support your strengths and offer further training opportunities.

THESE TASKS AWAIT YOU DURING YOUR APPRENTICESHIP:
Customer consultation in the store and at the customer's location
Design, production, and installation of curtains and decorative fabrics, as well as corresponding fixtures
Installation of privacy and sun protection systems
Textile wall coverings, wallpapering
You will also learn how to refurbish and repair upholstered furniture during your apprenticeship
Preparation of quotes and invoices
Conducting measurements at the customer's location

YOU SHOULD BRING THE FOLLOWING BASICS WITH YOU:
Manual dexterity and artistic talent
You are communicative and enjoy providing advice
You are creative and have an eye for colors and patterns
A secondary school diploma is required
You are service-oriented and flexible
You have a class B driver's license or are currently in the process of obtaining one
