LOCATION:764 Second St, Manchester NH, 03102


TRAVEL REQUIRED:
Minimally to Londonderry satellite location


Job Summary:
This individual is responsible for greeting patients, verifying their demographic information and updating as applicable.


Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in health care setting performing similar work activities including, but not limited to clerical, billing or insurance processing is preferred.

Essential Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of applicable financial and clinical functions.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to work with frequent interruptions and respond appropriately to unexpected situations.
• Ability to interact with physicians and staff and participate as a team member with individuals inside and outside the department.
• Ability to communicate with patients and their families.

PATIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greets patients.
• Verifies current address and insurance status.
• Verifies insurance eligibility.
• Collects co-payments and outstanding balances.
• Notifies clinical team of patients arrival.
• Reconcile batch daily for money collected.
• Schedules appointments at the end of their visit.

Pay:
From $18.50 per hour
