Urban Planner (m/f/d)


The city of Peine is looking to fill a permanent position as an Urban Planner (m/f/d) within the Department of City Planning in the Office of Building Construction, starting as soon as possible with a weekly working time of 39.0 hours.

The salary is based on pay group 11 TVöD.

The salary range for pay group 11 TVöD is between 3,622.16 € (experience level 1) and 5,463.69 € (experience level 6).

Your professional experience will be taken into account when assigning the experience level within the pay group, as far as legally possible.

The city of Peine is an independent city with around 51,000 inhabitants.

Peine is located between the state capital Hanover and the major center of Braunschweig and is conveniently connected to the federal motorway 2 and the railway network of Deutsche Bahn (Braunschweig-Peine-Hanover).

The Peine town hall is located near the train station and the city center. Peine is home to a diverse industry as well as concentrated trade and service businesses. In the heart of the city, the historic market square completes the overall cityscape.


The Department of City Planning in the Office of Building Construction is responsible for planning for the development of the city of Peine and its 14 associated villages.
