At the earliest possible date, on behalf of my client company (social organization), I am looking for several school companions for 1:1 support in Fall Creek, IL.


Responsibilities:

  • Accompany and support a child with special educational needs (possible intellectual and/or physical impairments, learning disabilities, developmental delays, etc.) in their school day
  • Provide structural support for learning and understanding school material
  • Supervise during breaks
  • Conduct feedback conversations with parents, teachers, and authorities

Qualifications:

  • Background in social pedagogy or nursing, ideally with a completed education in the social sector (relevant professions include social assistants, childcare workers, educators, special education teachers, social workers, occupational therapists, school companions, personal assistants, etc.)
  • Experience with children with special educational needs preferred
  • Availability in the mornings
  • Empathy and sensitivity
