PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Manage all accounting transactions.
  • Enter financial transactions in QuickBooks, maintain detailed ledger records and general accounting.
  • Utilize GAAP principles in financial transactions.
  • Tracking transactions and reconciling deposits and credit card statements
  • Maintain and balance Intercompany accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records for tax filings and account analysis.
  • Conduct general ledger reconciliation and journal entries.
  • Maintain and update accounts receivable, and collections and reconcile with bank statements.
  • Conduct monthly budgeting and forecasting.
  • Mastering heavy data entry in a computer and maintaining a database with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Create, maintain forms, and prepare reports in spreadsheets for various reporting purposes.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports.
  • Assist with monthend and yearend closing procedures.
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive financial filing system for our company.
  • Assist with other accounting projects in the office.
  • Answer the phone system professionally and in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Association Degree in Accounting.
  • At least 3+ years of general clerical work experience in an office environment.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and strong understanding of GAAP Accounting Procedures and Practices for financial reporting.
  • Ability to work in financial accounts and statements.
  • Experience in budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Ability to perform account analysis and taxrelated tasks.
  • Competence in general ledger reconciliation and journal entries.
  • Advance and proficient in QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Experience in inventory is a plus.
  • Proficient and extensive experience in Excel.
  • Must know how to type at a speed of 40+ words per minute.
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills.
  • Effective and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interface well and communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Excellent problemsolving/judgment skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work under stress, effectively, and efficiently with mínimal supervision.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and able to multitask effectively.
  • Accurate, time management skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to manage a large number of detailed tasks.
  • Adaptability to changes and grasp new concepts and processes, including technology.
  • Have reliable transportation, must be dependable with consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and a drugfree workplace.
