Description

The Accident Insurance Fund North employs around 300 employees. As a public corporation, it is responsible for providing statutory accident insurance for approximately 1.9 million people in Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg, including public service employees, students, pupils, and kindergarten children. Our task is to prevent work and school accidents, occupational diseases, and work-related health hazards. We manage and accompany the healing process and provide financial benefits to our insured persons. At the same time, the Accident Insurance Fund North is responsible for state occupational safety in Schleswig-Holstein to prevent health hazards and promote humane working conditions.

We are currently looking for Accident Claims Handlers in the Serious Cases Department to join our Rehabilitation and Benefits Department in Kiel or Hamburg as soon as possible.

Your new challenge includes:

Determining insurance coverage and responsibility, if necessary conducting targeted investigations with in-depth legal assessment
Managing the healing process
Validating the diagnosis
Monitoring initial treatments, if necessary intervening and transferring to treatment with another doctor
Accompanying insured persons during the healing process as the responsible contact person
Determining any disruptions in the healing process and intervening
Promoting early and comprehensive rehabilitation; identifying cases for rehabilitation
