Description

In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic architecture and design of the central GLS IT Germany system landscape (across all architecture levels - enterprise architecture, business architecture, application architecture, and infrastructure architecture). You will lead our architecture team and our architecture community and report to the Director of Software Delivery.

What can you expect from us?

Further development, conception, and management of the GLS Germany IT platform
Design, management, and optimization of a unified architecture and technology stack
Support and advice for our transformation projects (transitioning the current landscape to a microservices landscape, modernization and consolidation of development, CI/CD, and operations processes)
Continuous development of our employees into subject matter experts and (future) leaders

What are we looking for?

You are a leader with relevant experience in the IT industry and ideally have had some exposure to the logistics and/or express delivery industry
You have a degree in business informatics, computer science, engineering, or a comparable qualification, and ideally have certifications in the architecture field
You have a holistic perspective and solid experience in the architecture of enterprise-wide IT system landscapes
You balance customer interests, budgets, and the pursuit of the strategic roadmap through flexible
