As a "Specialist in Occupational Medicine (M/F/Divers)" in the field of Group Health, Rachel, WV, you will be responsible for establishing worldwide minimum standards for "Occupational Medicine/Prevention".

You will be guided by the global S&H strategy, focusing on governance, legal compliance, continual improvement, and the workability of our Continental employees.

Your role will involve an integrative approach, working closely with all S&H specialist functions to ensure holistic prevention. Additionally, you will coordinate medical services in Germany and standardize processes and tools.


Your tasks will include:

  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring worldwide minimum requirements for occupational medicine, in accordance with ISO 4500
  • Coordinating medical services in Germany, with a focus on legal compliance according to German regulations
  • Optimizing and standardizing processes and IT systems to create synergies within Germany
  • Taking professional responsibility for prevention and standards in travel medicine, employee expatriation and repatriation, and coordinating with stakeholders such as travel management, HR, and Group Security
  • Integrating medical topics within Group Safety & Health
  • Collaborating with Group Health on absenteeism management, return to work procedures, workability, and health promotion, aligning with the S&H Group strategy and taking a holistic approach to occupational health and safety
  • Supporting/replacing the Head of Group S&H on occupational health issues in global crisis management, and providing advice to the crisis team in Germany if necessary
