Responsibilities:


Product Formulation:

Contribute to the development and formulation of personal care and cosmetic products.

Collaborate with senior chemists and R&D teams to create innovative and effective formulations.


Quality Control:

Perform routine testing and analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.

Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications, troubleshooting and addressing any deviations.


Lab Maintenance:

Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

Calibrate and operate laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability.


Documentation:

Document experimental procedures, results, and observations accurately.

Prepare technical reports and assist in maintaining product development records.


Regulatory Compliance:

Stay informed about industry regulations and standards related to personal care and cosmetic products.

Ensure products comply with relevant regulations and certifications.


Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and marketing, to ensure smooth product development and launch.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in cosmetics or personal care product development.
  • Strong understanding of cosmetic chemistry principles and formulation techniques.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the cosmetics industry.
  • Familiarity with analytical techniques and instruments used in cosmetic testing.

Salary:
$ $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
